Inspace, 1 Crichton Street, Edinburgh EH8 9AB

Markus Miessen is an internationally operating architect, spatial consultant and writer, and one of the Festival’s guest curators.

He is the author of many books and articles, and the editor of ‘Did Someone Say Participate’ (the Independent: “one of the ten best architecture books of all time”). Markus will transform Inspace into, as he puts it, an “informally discursive social space, a hub for antagonistic debate, nonconsensual formats of moving image display, and – ultimately – a platform for alternative formats of civility”.

His challenging programme of speeches, films, arguments and interruptions can be found by searching the What’s On pages of the EIFF site.
